Sexual Assault Survivor Bag

Fundraising Program

The Assault Survivor Bags program provides personal care items for sexual assault victims seen in hospital emergency rooms. In 2015-2016 our kits were able to provide comfort to over 200 sexual assault survivors. The Assault Survivor Bags are distributed by State Certified Sexual Assault Advocates when victims present at area hospitals. The Assault Survivor Bag program provides clothing and other items comforting items such as a blanket and toy to help assault victims, whose garments are retained by police for evidence, to leave the hospital comfortably and with dignity.

Every $10 Donation Provided a Sexual Assault Survivor with a Survivor Bag

100% of Sexual Assault Survivors felt that the Assault Survivor Bags were helpful to them
